Cancer sx even if you survive it. Trying to keep up with work while dealing with unending sickness must be tough. I have never experienced this nor do I want to. While I am typing this Marilyn is reading me a text her sis sent to her while her sis is in the Dr office waiting to have her chemo port moved to another location. Her cancer has come back for the third time. She has lost her hair twice now. Marilyn has taken her sis to Omaha 130 miles one way countless times and will continue to do so till the end. Her sis is 57 and a tough petite cheery person with a bright smile but her tears are showing too often.

My wife's cancer has returned for the third time, but as stage 4 this time. She's currently receiving chemo by port, every Friday for three, then skip a week. She is holding up pretty well, but has no stamina. We cut her hair Thursday.
Please pray for all cancer patients.

I've been having chemo 2 days a month and that really knocks me down. Usually takes me 2+ weeks to start feeling better and then it's only another 2 weeks until the next round of treatments.

I've been told to stay out of the heat after chemo, plus to be careful what I try to do; I don't even drive for the first week after chemo. Feel real weak most of the time. Only 9 more days to the next round of chemo, hopefully that will be it for awhile.

Great advice man up and get a colonoscopy. I ran across a friend I had not seen in a long time at a funeral home his story was along the line of yours. When I got home I told my wife to get the ball rolling for my check up.. I have had three and never regretted it.

Not much I can help you with on the chemo deal I know it can be ell... My wife did 9 mo. of chemo ell it did no good. My uncle fared OK other than he had issues with skin conditions that looked like bad sunburn on his back. He was cleaning his gutters and fell off the ladder he went into a coma that ended his life... Take care of yourself other things will just have to wait.

Be careful with nueropothy. There is medication to take for that. Chemo as you know is a poison to kill cancer cells. Chemo is a poison and takes its toll. My brother, very legally blind before chemo is almost totally blind now. And nueropothy has really set in. He could and did work with power tools over the years despite his very bad site. I haven't seen him because I'm out of town but hear that he nicked himself in the fingers with a circular saw. Be very careful and best of luck.
