A few sample pictures from Gilmore show

I sure don't mean to step on anybody's thread or to bore anybody with more pictures but I thought some might enjoy a sample of some more pictures from the Gilmore Museum and the tractor show from this past weekend. Remember this is only a sample as there would be so many cars it would fill a book. Hope you enjoy. Tom

NICE photos of NICE stuff we don't see everyday! Thanks for posting!

On a side note, couldn't help but notice that's a pretty WIDE engine in the fourth photo, even has a "decal"!

Thanks for the post, looks like a fantastic museum. Not too far from me either for a weekend trip.

I had not noticed that when I posted those pictures but as Jeff Foxworthy once said, There like an old Diesel engine, They are kind of hard to get them fired up but once you get them running they just never quit.

Tom, I posted some pics. on Fri. of your stuff. At least I think it was your's. I know the 530 was because of the sign. I talked to the owner of the Thermoil. It was a 2 stroke diesel.

That is a neat engine, got to talk to him about it 2 years ago at the show in Harrison. It has a very unique injection system, a small ignition in the injector fires forcing the fuel through the tip to atomize the fuel.

We must of just missed each other. I did see the pictures that you posted. I had a pair of 530's, one a row crop and one a standard, a disc, auger wagon, ensilage blower and a mower with a hay crimper hooked behind it there this year. I feel that it is an honor and privilege to be able to participate in that program when they allow us to use their facility and grounds for a show. I will attach a picture of what we had there.

Tell us more about this show. We southern boys never heard of it. Looks like a great time for a vacation next year, I'd love to go. That first contraption is a work of art. Tell us about it! Is there a website and what state is it in? JBD
