Hey Guys going to in Daytona Florida Next week for a few days
visiting friends, looking for suggestions, on things to do or places to see while in the area.
 
ponce de leon lighthouse, if youre into racing, do the race track tour. Kennedy Space Center isn't too far away, and of course the beaches.
 
A side trip through St. Augustine would be worthwhile. It's the oldest settlement in the U.S. There's an old fort there that is well worth a visit. (Can't recall the name of the fort).
 
We had fun at the track! I even made a few laps around the track but only as a passenger. The guy in front of me was from Scotland and even though we had a failure to communicate we were both grinning from ear to ear after!

I will second the space center! I am not a big fan of space stuff but I really enjoyed the center. Took the bus out to launch pad and got to see operations center.
 
I've been to the space center twice years ago, neat stuff. St. Augustine was good, Fountain of youth was more like stump water although I'm still kickin, couldn't of hurt I guess.
 
AIRBOAT RIDE, SEE MANY GATORS/BIRDS, CAR MUSEUMS, WARBIRD RESTORATION NEW SMYRNA AIRPORT...BE BLESSED, GRATEFUL, PREPARED..
 
Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala . It is two museums . The dragsters and an old car and equipment museum. Not big on Chevys. at all . , but fascinating.
