John Deere 1974 Model # 205 Brush Hog

Hello

I am trying to help my father find a part for the above mentioned Brush Hog. John Deere stated it was discontinued. The part # W14799 - Clutch Assembly/Slip Clutch.

Maybe someone knows where to get a parts Manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance Barbara

there are a few things the dealer can do for you first ask them to do a dealer search for the part if that doesnt work ask them to check j.d. vintage parts if that doesnt work ask them to call The Depot they use to buy parts that were overstock and discontinued parts from implement companies deere has parts manuals online

JD parts catalogs can be viewed for free at JDparts.com. 205 rotary mower catalog number is #995. Slip clutch plates are still available from JD.
