got a guy on the left coast that has a part that I need and we have tentavely agreed on price,.. troubles is,he seems to be in hot water with irs , inheritance taxes,and other snares including siblings , and indeed they have a lot to dispose before he is moved off the property ,,. he don't wanna do pay pal,. he would rather I send or wire cash ,.. I just don't feel comfortable with that idea , or the entire deal now for that matter , the more I learn,the more troubled I feel,I have got another reputable prospect to buy from that I trust for a third more in cost.// anyone got any better ways to transact biznez they are willin to share

Tell him paypal or nothing as you need protection and thats the best way you send him money and you will never see the part. You can find that part elswhere.

Probably the same guy I posted about a couple weeks ago pretty slick talker good story etc,bet he answered a wanted ad here. You send the money you'll most likely never
hear from him or your part ever.

Follow your gut. If it is too complicated and messy than the risk is high. Big red flags waving: IRS, siblings, being moved from property.

Totally agree. The guy smells like either a crook or someone completely unreliable or he wouldn't be in the soup he's in now. :-( gm

Gotta agree with everyone else. RUN! You just may be able to save a buck or 2 but you may also wind up loosing the entire purchase price.

Not as simple as that deal between you and me is it. LOL

For a third more,unless we're talking $30,000 instead of $20,000,I think I'd spend my money where I knew I'd get what I wanted even if it did cost a third more. Could be an expensive lesson in who to trust and who not to.

yes ,just had a guy here that thinks he can weld my problem and fix it,.and I THINK HE CAN.. randy our deal did work good,,. but I knew it would ,,.because my gut said so .and I knew I could trust you to do your level best ,/. ethan our hauler was wonderful too,.. he is a molene lover..

He is trying to "hide" the transaction. Paying him in cash will not leave a paper trail for the IRS to follow. The fellow is in hot water, as previously stated.

That sounds like you about to get scammed. Be smarter than that. You know as soon as you wire that money it is gone and so is he and what ever it is your trying to buy.

I know a guy who is paranoid of bringing too much money home and it messing up his disability checks. I know there are limits, but he is paranoid. (He is on the Left coast)

I think you've seen enough red flags on that deal to know it's time to look elsewhere. If the product isn't what you wanted, how do you get a refund if there is no record of the transaction?

Oh my! I'm loosing my home!=looking for sympathy. OH please help poor little ole me!

Siblings involved=need to be discreet. My family are jerks and don't care about dad's stuff!

IRS involvement=everyone hates the IRS and would like to stick em, so help me out here! Yea that ole evil IRS has me over the barrel and untraceable cash helps me out and puts the screws to them!

In all it adds up to a scam. He gets that bit of sympathy going, adds in the family issues of everyone piling on trying to get something out of an estate then wants to not only explain why he wants untraceable income but offers the opportunity to help screw the IRS.

So he baits the hook, then jigs it a bit to get you interested, then sets it hard. You send the guy cash and it's the last you hear from him!
