Radiator caps

My Brother was working part time for a mold/disaster clean up company, and did a lot of throwing out old junk from houses. He found these old radiator caps at one house and saved a couple. (good for him!) Anyway, anybody ever seen a cap like this before? The dangly thing hanging from the cap is a magnet and the red button on the top releases pressure. Has a lost of cars on the back that it is made to work with, all cars from the 60's. Are these worth anything?

Never seen anything like it before. But that doesn't mean much! LOL

Looks like a J C Whitney gimmick. I can't imaging having that piece of metal banging around inside the radiator! What a disaster waiting to happen!

I remember some caps that had a flip-up lever to release pressure but that was a long time ago. Is that piece aluminum? Maybe it's some kind of anti-corrosion gimmick like the anode rod in water heaters.

They still make the ones with the lever to release pressure.
