Planting the Sweetpotatoes

They arrived in the mail last week.We have a row in the garden to plant them in PA.

The deer really like these plants,so I am trying something to stop them this year,,,hopefully,,,

the last pass with the troy bilt,in the potato row,,cant do that any more.

Stole some new potatoes,took some to the neighbors grandma,,and these,,,,my wife surprised me and made the best red skin potato salad,,,,,life is good so far! Thanks for joining us in PA this weekend.......
 
Thanks for sharing the pics Larry. I always admire your abilities to garden and keep everything so neat. I am hoping to plant a heirloom variety of sweet potatoes this next week. They are called Nancy Hall. They have been raised by a local family for over 100 years. Planted them last year and the dang deer ate em! I havent got to be on here much lately, been so busy I didnt know whether to scratch my watch or wind my rear end!
