New mowing tractor

We're looking to get a new mowing tractor it'll be used to pull the batwing and do some hay work. We're thinking either a 806 or 966. What would you guys recommend? We might also put a loader on the tractor

All I can tell you is I really like my 966 , and the parts for the 966 will be very
easy to get for a long time . Because the 66 tractors and 86 tractors shared a lot of
parts.

The 966 is 2 generations newer than the 806. Other than that, either one would be a good choice and be more than capable of what you want.

A 966 ranks as one of my favorites. I would have to
say my 886 is on that list, too. They aren't too
pricey. Why not get an 8 or 986 and have a nicer
cab and air conditioning?

I have a 966 a 886 and 2 JD 4020's and I would not want to sell any of them. They are all really handy tractors for hay. I am pretty much color blind when it comes to tractors. If they work and handle good and I don't have to work on them, I like 'em.
