Had an 89 case 455c delivered today. Put two hours on it learning to drive it. Retrieved a 14 foot mower stuck at the creek crossing, repaired tractor ruts in the mud, moved a large tree that fell into the field, and got her up on the hills to the trees I want to harvest and drag down to the sawmill. Quite a capable machine. It has a new under carraige and a redone motor. I think it should last me quite a while. Should I steer it with the levers mostly or use the pedals? It's a wierd feeling having no clutch and no steering wheel. I'm keeping the hand throttle low and using the foot feed while I learn.
