hauling tractors

I am looking for a few guys with semi's to haul some tractors to the bridge this September. They will need insurance for this. They will load and go to Mackinac city then reload in St.Ignace and come back. This will take a full weekend to do. The tractors need to be in Mackinac City for Thursday night or Friday Morning. And reload Saturday or Sunday. It would be a good weekend get away for a family or a couple. If not interested in the tractors, there are other activities to do while the tractor deal is on. A 48 foot Trailer will load 6 tractors on if they are not big tractors like 4020's or 830 case. Even with wide front ends on them. I will supervise loading and even drive them on for anybody uncomfortable with that, also will unload for them. They will have to do the chain work or be helped with it.
My goal was to load all tractors and then go up together. Unloading on Wednesday would help with the congestion verses waiting till Thursday.
I can go over further details for those interested in person by phone or email.

Thanks for any or all help.

I can't help with hauling Caterpillar Guy but it sounds like a fun trip!
How many tractors are you planning on taking?
Where are you coming from?
One of the guys here in Michigan drove his tractor all the way
up there. I think it took him about 8 hours each way.
He said something to the effect of "he was used to 8 hours a day"
on his tractor. I think his forum handle is RowCrop.

I would like to see how your putting 6 tractors on a 48 foot trailer. Stacking the front tires on the rears of the tractor ahead of it???

JD I put one tractor on the front top deck backwards. The tires hang over the front about to the axle. Then put a front end up beside that. The back one on with the fron over tight to the side. The another on forward this is now 4 with the next one on backwards with the last one driven on. It hangs over the rear about to the axles also.

When I had a Landoll 48 foot trailer I could put 9 small tractors on by stacking them. Put 8 tractors on it narrow front by parking them on an angle and lift the front end up on the back wheel of the one ahead of it. Took a little work to get loaded but when we hauled out of Stiles Ville In. it paid to stack them. We could only get 4 JD 4020's on with wide fronts. I wish I knew how to post pictures on here. ... Most tractors are 12' unless they are smaller. Those are around 10' unless you have a L JD. I have a 53 X 96 drop deck with fold over ramps that I put BR or 435 on the 10' nose and 630S, 730S, 830 and Kubota on the rear. It is full. I can get a BW, BWH, and L on my 34'X 102 GN with plenty of room. You can nose tricycles together and get your 6 tractors on. Did that years ago when everybody had them, Ms, 88s, etc.
