For the Oliver Guys

Went to a funeral last week. The star of the show had a few Oliver's. A couple restored and a few more in their "work clothes". As I pulled up, there was his restored 77 with a newly decked wagon behind it. After the funeral, they put the box on the wagon and the family and "polar bears" hopped on and took him to the graveyard. Hope someone does that for me when the time comes. They'll likely use a spreader though.......

Fertilizer spreader for me I want to be cremated and the ashes
scattered on the farm. I think I'm going to include that in the will
they all thought I was crazy when I was alive no use stopping when
you're dead .thanks for the post

My sister was cremated and had her ashes scattered over the homestead. That was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.

My wife says I'll be cremated. She says my ashes will be in a coffee can, and she will throw it out in a road ditch somewhere. I told her I won't care!

be thankful in that your sister trusted you and that you had the strength to do what she asked I had an aunt who passed away and I was pretty shaken up at the time and my mother tried to get everything done her way and not respect her sisters wishes I have always regretted some of the things that happened and I wish I could have done better for my aunt.

When my Dad passed away I took him to the
cemetery behind a 630 John Deere. Buried him in
his overalls. We also got a clear glass container
that had a lid on it. I went to each of his farms and
got a portion of dirt and put it in his casket. He will
be with some of that dirt he loved for eternity.

My Dad was proud to be a farmer and I was proud
to bury him as a farmer.
