I have an HP lap top (probably 10 years old). The other night I closed it and then next day, when I opened it, the screen images had turned 90 degrees to the left, meaning that to view the images, I need to turn the laptop so that it is like a book. How do I get the screen images turned 90 degrees to the right or back to normal. When I shut it down and then bring it back up, all the windows stuff is normal but then everything is turned back 90 degrees to the left...of course, this means I have to chase the cusror around as it doesn't go where you try to put it.

Any help would be greeatly appreciated.
thanks

Put your cursor over the screen (not over any icons) and right click. Select 'Screen Resolution'. In the box that comes up select 'Landscape' - it probably says 'Portrait' now. Click 'OK' and this should fix your problem.

Press the control and alt keys at the same time with your left hand then take and press the arrow keys with your right hand. Those 3 keys pressed at the same time will rotate your screen till it gets where you want it.

Why do you post things like this? I am course just kidding but I know I am going to get into all kinds of trouble now.

Love the things I learn here.
