Ive brought this up before, but is aarp dental insurance, the best for someone with no dental insurance for 60 plus yrs old? Would I be eligible for dental through link_disallowedcare if i have my own healthcare through employer?

Look into Delta Dental $25 per month.

Most time dental insurance does not pay. Most have limited coverage and limits.

I have had dental Plan through BC/BS for about 5 years now. It has paid well for me, but I have a lot of dental issues. Wife has very good teeth, so not so credible for her .

I should add that I have a lot of issues with teeth getting bad and needing crowns & root canals.

I think delta will pay for cleanings and a minor amount of work. But it think the limit is $1500, which doesn't go far.

We use the the dental school at the university of fl. Cheaper rates because they need patents for their students. Good people and they take their time, good care with the latest equipment. Have used other university dental schools in the past and have gotten the same good treatment.
