Just recently my tractor would try to move in high gear #2 or higher but can barely do it or cant when warmed up. What would cause this? I checked and replaced the trans fluid and it still does this.

have you adjusted the clutch? Most likely its worn in higher gears it takes more torque that would cause the clutch to slip.

Slipping clutch. Check very bottom of bell housing for a hole near the motor. It should be about 3/16 diam with the ends of a cotter pin sticking out. The hole is there to allow leaking motor oil or transmission oil to drip out.

I found a hole under the tractor that has a cotter pin sticking out of it. Is this it? It seems to be wet near there. What does that mean and what do I do to fix it?

It is good that there is a hole that is not plugged and that the cotter pin is in it. A little oil around it is not a big deal. Just insure that when you wiggle the cotter pin that you don't cause it to start a steady dribble. A steady dribble could mean an oil soaked clutch, but if wiggling the pin brings no additional oil, that means that you have just a slight leak which would not cause the clutch to slip.

Buy a repair manual. You want the I&T FO-41 manual - available from this site for around $30.
It will explain how to adjust the clutch.
That is a very, very good model tractor.

The arm that goes into the clutch is all the way to the right. I took of the adjustable connecting rod and I don't think it can go any further. Is this what I should be adjusting? I got a manual but it doesn't say much unless your taking the clutch apart.

Thanks for the help everyone. Onice I freed up the arm with some heat I was able to losen it and now we are good to go.
