Weather sites

Before I mow hay, I check 3 different weather sites.....and not a one of them had a clue about the 2.3" of rain we got last night.

Started mowing Saturday, was supposed to be clear through Wednesday.

I'll have 25 acres of nice clean hay.

That is just (1) reason, I quit haying.
Sold all the equipment, rented the farm to a commercial farmer.
Let them deal with mother nature.

There were two clouds in the state last night, one of them got me, storming again today, hopefully put hay down Wednesday.

I hope you have a hay tedder. Get on the hay ASAP before the sun's heat hits it and your hay will still be pretty good. If you can't get in the field or do not have a tedder than your going to have some hay of lower quality.
