Where I've been

Decided to pull up my map to see where I've been lately. The only one I don't remember is the one way east in Ma or Ri.

Been a bit since you have showed us your map, but don't you generally stay in the Midwest 50%+ of the time? Or are you all over more than in one general region? Stay safe driving out there

Here it is. Had to log out and back in to get it to load.

So I guess saying that you are mostly in the "midwest" would be a pretty fair statement. Looks like you rarely get to the west coast or past the continental divide, and only about a 1/3 of the time very far to the east eh? What's the time frame on that map, a year, year to date?

Ross

I35 stands out big time, Texas-Mexico border to Minnesota. I'm also guessing that is year to date, I've had to drive some before unintentionally.

Jon, although I met you at the show in Fredericksburg TX you are within a mile of my home anytime you pass thru south of Austin. I'm just west of that toll road overpass complex between Austin and Buda (where the Cabela's store is).

I see you travel I-49 and I-20. I live where they cross each other. Passing through, give us a shout.

There are several stops in Sc, some are right near the border with Nc tho so it's hard to tell. The one in Nw Sc is in Clinton, a place called Sterrilite. They make those plastic totes for stroring stuff.

Ah yes, Sterilite! The company I work for picks up there. You were only about a mile from my mother in laws house, and about 20 from me at work! I think you had come by the company I contact for a couple of years ago when I was going to be at the plant, but I was going to be extremely tied up that day. That would have been in Duncan SC.

Man... I'd take vacation from work just to ride along with on these trips. I sometimes think I should have been an OTR trucker.. I was just telling a guy at work a couple nights ago how I wish I had more ability to see the wonderful natural parts of this country that were created for us to all see (not to mention meeting a lot of neat folks along the way).

Best trip I ever took was probably on my motorcycle from NW Minneapolis, MN suburbs to Austin, TX and back. Mostly I-35 all the way, but really liked areas of Kansas City, The tallgrass prairies of Kansas, and the Turner Falls area of OK.

Never seen the Grand Canyon, the Badlands, or really any of the incredible national parks. These areas and a ride on old Route 66 are all on my bucket list.

Jon,
Just thank God you aren't in a 58 mph top speed cab over Freightliner with a 36" house and no power steering!!

John, I see you skirt around me in central Ia. I did get to see you on I24 last week on the way to granddaughter's graduation in Murfreesboro. Remember a 1956 Ford on a trailer and a maroon Ford van acting strangely? That was me in the van,and wife trying to wave a hello to you. I thought I saw your tractor on you truck and had to verify. Small world.
