This is where Bonnie and Clyde bit the bullet(s), about where car is parked. They came driving up this long hill when they slowed down to help a guy they knew who was faking a flat on his truck. He had sold out to the lawmen in exchange for clemency for his son, who was a sometime member of the Barrow gang. I shot photo from about where the six shooters were hidden. The site has changed little since that time.

I doubt it. There weren't many to be found. Most of the shots fired hit the car or the bodies.
 
In 1925, my dad was born in a sod house, south side of the railroad tracks in Big Bow, Kansas.

Gone, but not forgotten.
