All pics on TV were taken from the neighbors side of the lake. I've spend 100's of hours working in the gravel pit south of the lake. geo
blue hole.

So what have you been doing, trucking gravel from your pit to fill the Blue Hole. Sounds like you did a good job since it is only 20 some feet deep now.

Just the opposite. There are two lakes there. One more south, man made and not very deep. Sometimes when the water level goes down, I've harvested about a 6 inch layer of lake mud to add to mulch for flowers. Smells like fish, gray clay that sticks to everything, even the dump trailer, front bucket, shoes, tires. It's like super glue. A lot of work to mix it up with horse poo, gray clay, wood chips seem to be the ticket.

If you look at the google pic, you will see many trails, large enough to drive on. Now that some of my work. Boss goal is to transform the gravel pit into a flower garden.

Not to steal from the current thread, but there is an old limestone quarry in our county that is now a lake/county park. At the bottom are two Waterloo Boys, and a spoker D that were left there when the quarry was abandoned. They were used to run water pumps to keep the quarry dry. I am told that divers have seen them!
