Hay season soon be here. Anyone using a disc mower caddy and your thoughts on them. I would like to use my Kabota 9' on a JX65. About 62 hp. See any problems with this combination?

I didn't know what you were talking about so I googled them. This was the second thing that came up in google:

Looks like a couple people have them and like them.

I don't have one but I've helped my neighbor who has one on his Krone mower. I really like it. A new disc mower is on my needed list for next year and I'll either get a caddy or a trail mower.

I bought one last year because it was taking so long to hook up the mower. Since I am a one man show, it made sense that I could pull my equipment to the field with the pickup. Best investment I have made lately

If you already have a mower get the caddy, you'll really like it, if your looking at a mower and caddy get a trailed mower.
I've had a trailed mower for years and have used my father in laws three point hitch disc mower many times. Last year I bought another new trailed mower, Kuhn 9' I pull behind my 4000 Ford 52hp tractor. A new disc mower and caddy are around the same price as a trailed mower with no conditioner.

I have both my disc mowers on caddies. Caddy takes a lot stress off the towing tractor especially the lower HP tractors. I've pulled a disc mower on caddy with a 45 pto HP tractor before I purchased a 65 pto HP tractor.
