What would you do with the time?

What did we do with our time before internet? How did we leave home without a phone in our pocket?

I can't really remember doing much more than I do now, but a lot of brain cells have passed on since then!

clean up the yards and buildings, this place is a mess. I do try and work on it when find some time(between what needs to be done), then look around some get discouraged log into YT for ten min and feel better for a spell then go back and do more... over and over......

Sit in a chair and look around for a book. Or go take a walk outside and think about what to do. Or more likely go work on all my "treasure" outside. But I have to
say, without this site, a lot of my "treasure" wouldn't be running at all.

(quoted from post at 19:04:25 05/18/16) If you could have all of the hours back that you spent on YT, what would you do with the time?
About the only time I've spent here I was usually getting a bite to eat so not involving long stretches of otherwise usable "working" time, and when the internet is working out here - neither item a regular occurrence.

I wouldn't be here right now but for falling asleep on the floor by the wood stove before getting supper, and the dog waking me up a bit ago by being in 'his space'. I'm getting a bit of cold spaghetti, need to go out to take care of 'one last chore' plus bring in some wood and tend the stove, then get about 3 hours of time in bed.

If you asked what I'd do without the internet, I'd be stuck on a phone during business hours (while trying not to chew in someones ear), looking for information and parts for the obsolete junk that keeps this farm working, and probably spending a bunch more money doing so.

Thank you internet, and YT!

I'd sit down and read a book. I banished myself from the woodworking shop when I became ill; that is a dangerous place if you aren't thinking clearly at all times.

I could restore an entire tractor in that time; not saying I would do it ;-)
Is there a known cure for YTMAG-addiction?

I'd have to get some TV reception back in the house. The big old TV still sits here, but haven't watched it in years. This annoying satellite internet helps to discourage me from getting satellite TV.
