Putting transmission back together on grandpas cub. Cant get shifting forks n and allow for the gears to mov freely when in neutral. Need advise on gear placement and shifting forks. Thanks!!

You probably know this but it is very easy to miss. Don't forget the detent balls will drop into the fork shaft hole and prevent the shaft from moving its full travel. I use a small punch to depress the ball on its spring into the recess, then push the fork shaft past it.

Thank u guys. Grandpa called and said after I left he
put shifter in it and it was right. I guess I juat second
guessed myself. Haha. Thanks again!!
