Ford 3000 Steering

My Ford 3000 has a lot of slack in the steering wheel. Does anyone know how to adjust it?

First... is the play in the steering box, or are your drag
link ends worn?
I'm not real familiar with the 3000's steering. I believe
there's an adjustment on the side of the steering box
on manual steering tractors, but I'm not sure about
the ones with power steering.

You are correct. 3000 steering Box is almost identical to all the Ford boxes from the late 8N all the way through the 3600s. There is a adjusting screw with lock nut on each side. Lower half of a PS box is identical to non PS.

Adjust the rear most screw first. Then the front one.
If you don't have a manual I suggest you get one.
