After ordering a carb kit from you guys and postponing, I got my grandfathers old ford running today. Still need some tuning on the carb to get the crackle to go away in road gear. Wheel seals, tires, and paint are next. Next project is great grandfathers 1920ish fordson

Pictures are definatley going to have to happen. I did a few hours of mowing with the 850 and cleared a path to tug the fordson into the shop. The engine is unstuck with the head removed and carb taken apart and cleaned. I have to rewire the coil box and conjure up 4 buzz box coils. I intend to use my pto pulley on the 850 and the belt to start the fordson

Well i've done a few acres of moving with the 850 and woods finishing mower between rain storms that have decided to come to texas. After running at high speed in 2nd gear i get an unsteady idle after stopping the pto and letting the tractor idle in the drive way. I can only compare it to a detroit diesel with no load and governor out of adjustment.
