Can you believe after all this abuse and almost 3000 hours the loader curl stopped working today on the 5740! Just kidding, we're going to look at it tomorrow. Not sure what it is, never happened before. After loading 60 semi's of mulch every year and all the other stuff it does, I figured something would happen to the loader. We replaced the lower pins in the loader near the bucket is all that's ever been done. Pretty good I'd say.

MOST common is the nut on end of rod in one of the curl cylinders has backed off or you jerked it off. Happens when folks try to grade with the bucket vertical . Sound like you have been satisfied with the unit. Maybe won,t take too much to get it going.

I think you're right. A high school helper was running it today. And I have an extra long bottom light materials bucket that amplifies the problem

Forget how we do it , But we usually get buy by rethreading the rod one size smaller. IF you pull rod out of the cylinder head go on and get new seals there, however you may not need to pull the rod from the head to solve your problem.

My Kubota Loader wouldn't lift up. In a snow storm the first winter I had it. It was a bad fitting where the loader hooks to the tractor. Under warrantee but was still a pain in the butt when it happened. That was 4 years ago and has worked fine since.

WOW, it sounds like there's an issue here that the almighty builder of "tractors" in the Orient needs to address. Or NOT?
