Wanna trade? The dealer that I bought the new Kuhn disc mower/conditioner from last year has one just like it sitting there. I told them maybe this year, but I just bought that 2-105 White,so now I have to say maybe next year again.

Bruce, tell me about the rear wheel on the Kubota.

Is that a cast center or a huge cast weight bolted to a pressed steel rim ?

Oh, nice rake...... but you know your wife wants to run it. You can still use the old one though. LOL

I raked for a guy a couple of years back with an older model wheel rake, not sure of the brand. That one looks much more substantial!

Get it adjusted like the manual says on flat ground, then when you pull it into the hay, the fun starts. I was mad enough with my 108 to burn it, a bunch of drunks with yard rakes could do a better job than it did. Finally got it mostly figured out, on light hay it does good, no so good on med, leaves a lot, leaves lots more on heavy hay, you will be going back over most windrows. I found on mine if I go faster, it does better.

We found that if the dew is to far off alfalfa, that it will try and wind up on the wheels by sticking through the wheel. It will pick up the stones on top and put them in the bottom of the windrow.
I like mine have had them for about 10years now. Teeth seem to not last long on ours though.

I've got a 12 wheel Hesston, but mine opens and closes, with the wheels raising on arms not pivoting into the air. I love it. I don't know that I could take any other way now.
