Not long ago I was at a sale and took a
peak inside. Just inside the door 3 little
handprints in the cement what stories these
barns could tell.

That one is kinda gone. I know of all kinds that were in my area that are now gone or sitting beyond repair to rot. Its a sad sight to see.

I just watched one fall in around the corner from us last Winter. The roof is obviously the most important part of a barn, and most folks could not imagine re-roofing a building like that themselves. A couple of $15-20K quotes from roofers, and the death is certain. I just hate to see them go, so many stories.
