The free air compressor I got from my friend seems to work good.I got fittings and all from Harbor frieght,I didnt want to spend a lot on it,but so far it seems like it will fit my simple needs in the little shop I m trying to create,,,

It only took me fifteen years to clear a shed to have a little shop where everything repair or matainace is in one spot .

I didnt do anything with the free vise yet,I want to mount it on a truck rim and upright pipe so it can be rolled out of the way,I got the idea from tool talk, but havent had time to do it yet.

I made some more protection for the garden rows,I made some last week with wood and netting, but I bought this roll of heavy wire at an auction for 2 dollars,,so,,,,

I ended up with 6 six ft foldable protection inventions, and two rings with the leftover.Hopefully it will keep the deer from pulling the beets out like they did last season.

I put the ladder as weight to flatten the wire out some more.

Once again,,I would like to thank you for joining me in my visit to PA!!!

Larry always enjoy the pictures that you post on this site. If you use that compressor for painting put a moisture trap in air line. My sister lived in Pa. and its a beautiful state Thanks again for you pictures.

I might suggest you put a 90 deg elbow on the outlet pipe and get that slightly more protected from getting snapped off while under pressure. I tug mine around outside to get to flat tires so I charge it full then navigate to the flat. Outlet on mine is on top so more protected.

Your shop is toooo blasted clean. Looks kinda creepy . Got to get it dirty and full of projects! If I could find it quickly I would show you how to secure the air outlets. Will need to dig through some photo files. This is the air filter they are talking about. One time use and throw away. They are a little over $2.oo at harbor freight. They have specials now and then. NEVER EVER put an air tool oiler on the hose you will be painting with. The oil will make FISH EYES in the paint. The very best thing you can do, buy a new hose for yourself and only use it for painting. Painting with a gun is several steps of learning level but when you get it, all the paint job results will be WELL worth it. Go watch a local car body shop guy paint and you will pick it right up. Have fun.

Looks good Larry-I thought I had the only compressor like that in the country. I bought mine at a auction years ago. The motor was shot so it sat in my shed until I built my pond. I got the idea to pump air under the ice for my fish so I went to Harbor freight and bought one those $1000 motors on "sale" with coupon for $89. Mounted it on and put a pop off valve on it set at 100 lb. and it works good. Keep the pics coming, thanks------------Tee

I do tend to go overboard with pictures,,but blame y/t and the great people on here who taught me how to post pictures,,they created a picture monster! lol

My friend got it from the Sears Surplus store that used to be in Bergenfield. Off the top of my head I can think of 10-12 cars that it did and a whole load of bikes. It has been around since 1973, I used it the other day to fill bike tires in my barn. At 35 psi it will spray cars all day. Once the check valve blew out and we replaced it with a piece of stainless cut from a draftsmans template. Fixed it right up. I would call it a very well made compressor in my opinion. Heck I remember sandblasting with it but that took some patience.

No talent,,its the people here that kept teaching me over and over how to post the pictures,,it took me a lot of tries to finally get it,The people who taught me,,SweetFeet,James Howell,ElToro(Hal),,and many many others .are good teachers with a lot of patience. Thats what makes this the great site it is,,all the kind willing to help people on here. This site has become another part of our lives,,,sure is better than watching tv,or going to a bar,or some of the other things time can be spent on.I learn something or see interesting things from all over on this site every day.I hope this site, and all the great people on it continue for a long time.

Larry:

You can add ME to the list along with SweetFeet, I like pictures of the little shed too. :>)
