Life is a drag....

when it's dry and you're draggin. Allis Chalmers D17 Series IV diesel hi-clearance dualled up and raisin dust yesterday.

Looks like you have enough HP for that drag. The radio head phone you are using looks like the ones I have to tried to use. After sending mine back, and got a new one, it did the same, just a lot of static. They said I must be in a bad signal area. Finally mine fell off and went through my mower. That was the end of that problem. Stan

My original WorkTunes just quit on me this spring after 15 years...the old analog ones. This is a new digital set that is a lot easier to find stations with...just tap the tuning button and it seeks the next station and announces the frequency. One thing I don't care for is if I don't touch the dial for 2 hours it shuts off, I guess that would be one way to time my jobs. Otherwise, I have tons of stations in this area to listen to. An added bonus is that it keeps my ears clean and my cap on in the wind LOL!

(quoted from post at 19:12:27 04/17/16) Thought it was a D19......nice
Yeah without seeing the wheel centers I can see where you might think it was a D19....but the D19 diesel has a straight pipe and a bigger air cleaner.

(quoted from post at 19:22:52 04/17/16) Nice AC. I bet there isnt too many of those around.

Yes and it has the factory 3pt on it also. I bought it about 10 years ago out of Albuquerque...it had 12.4 - 38's on it! Looks better with the 15.5's.

(quoted from post at 20:02:10 04/17/16) You sure that's not too much of a load for the old girl?

Took the most power to turn with those duals on....but that drag is a load in soft ground. I pulled it with the D15 diesel last fall and it gave it a workout!
