Anyone ever had stuck bearings on an AWA disc harrow. I am sure could be the same on other brands but this is a 13 ft. with the bigger ones and they are tight, looking for suggestions.

Are you referring to a JD tandem disk? I've seen a model AW but not a model AWA. Have you ever greased the bearings?

Working on someone else disc. Grease does not go to the axle shaft, bearings turn good, just will not slide off shaft.

Dirt/rust between inner brg race & shaft can be a real PITA. I suggest applying abundant amount of your favorite penetrating oil plus hitting head of disk shaft with a sledge hammer.

My bad, they made AW, AWR, AWRS, AWS, but I have never saw any stuck so tight, first ones outside on the front gangs.

My kewaunee disk was stuck like that. I used a compressed air blow gun and a modified thin feeler gauge to scrape the dirt and rust out. Grind a little hook on the end of the feeler gauge to pick the dirt loose.

I cut them off, now the next spool is stuck, maybe all back to the middle bearing. Looks like a bad job.
