Flea market find

Went to flea market Saturday. Parked at back side, the first guy I came to had a used 5 gallon Eagle type safety can, which I bought for $10. He had other cans, when I came by later to leave he said one man bought all the rest. Of more interest to the group, he had a disassembled Farmall A on a trailer, wanted $550 for the pile and would deliver to a reasonable distance. No interest on my part, but one of the pieces was a scrape blade for the Farmall which I understand is rare. It was in excellent shape looked barely used. The A was in pieces including the engine taken apart to the bare block. The tire I could see and the sheet metal and grill were fair also.

Dad bought a Ford 4000 gas sort of like that once at a fleamarket, except it was only the engine in a basket. Pretty decent tractor, rebuilt the engine, and it was a real good tractor and a good price. Too bad for that A, you can buy a running one for not much more than that, he might not sell it too fast.

I wasn't lucky enough that the jackweeds who stole my creeper and DeWalt cordless tools took them straight to the pawn shop, but I did pick up a magnesium Snap-On half inch impact today for $50.

The pawn shop owner said another drug shipment hit town last week, they never say it on the radio but theft skyrockets every so often and that's why.
