Does anyone know anything about the 3618 IH loader tractor. I can not find any information anywhere. I double checked the pictures sent to me the decal does say 3618. It is a utility type tractor.

I'm trying to post a picture. Haven't figured it out. Is the 3616 a utility type, yellow paint tractor? How many horse are they and how's the parts availability?
 
I looked at the pictures again. I think it is probably a 3616, the decal is faded and it isn't a very good picture of it. Can you tell me more about the 3616? How old are they, how many horse and how's the parts availablity? Are they a pretty durable tractor? I would be using it to unload big rounds of hay and general ranch work.

There WAS a 3616 at a nearby scrapyard, I believe it was still there last time I was over there. I saw it last summer and checked it over, looked like a very heavy duty unit. Someone had pulled either the head or injectors and left the top of the engine open, I believe bit was the head but can't remember for sure.

The 3616 was and industrial tractor , usually in a loader or loader backhoe set up. I believe they had the same engine as a 460 did the D236 , they also came in a Hydro trans. Now as to H P i would guess around 48-50 hp and built back in the mid to late 60's maybe into the early seventy's . As a backhoe they were not really good , sorta like a 3414 not a bunch of digging power bad brakes weak trunnion points on the hoe swing . I H was trying to run with the big dogs in backhoes of the time and fell short .
