Motor oil pricing

Was into the local Campbell Supply store this afternoon and they had Mobil 10W30 and 5W30 oil on sale for $11.44 for a 5 qt. jug. Mobil is running a $7 rebate on top of that so my
oil cost $4.44 for a 5 qt. jug or only .88 qt. Haven't bought it for that money for a long, long time. Limit of 2 jugs but enough kids to send in extra rebates on.

I believe that rebate applications must be from differing addresses.

I was thinking about getting some Mobil 1 the other day while at Wal Mart and the rebate is still in force to use in my new truck. They had a decent everyday price of about $22. With the $12 rebate that would make it like $2 a quart.
Glad I did not buy before reading the fine print.
It has to be bought from a list of participating stores.
Did not see Wal Mart on the list.
Everyone else around here wants $40.
Heck I can get it from Wal Mart; forget about the rebate; and still be money ahead.

I think motor oil has come down a few cents a quart here, everywhere but at walmart.

I bought mobile delvac 15-40 at Family farm and home a few weeks ago for $60 for 5 gallons plus a $25 rebate for every 5 gallon bucket. Doesn't get much cheaper than $7 a gallon for good oil..........if the rebate comes.

I did that recently, submitted the rebate online, got a reply in a couple of days that it was rejected because the receipt didn't
have a date. When I took the picture of it I had cut the date off, took a new picture and resubmitted it and all is well, I hope!

Even though Walmart is not in the fine print, I've been told that the rebates will be processed for purchases there. I know they did last year.

Won't hurt to try!

Mobil will accept purchases made at walmart! Walmart is a participating retailer! Notice on Mobil's website it says "Some participating retailers include:" It says "some"! The list is not complete! I have sent in several rebates for Mobil 1 that were purchased at walmart and they were all accepted!
