I went back and read the caption under the pic on their website and it did say, "English Electric Lighting F1". So I think you are right about the English countryside.
 
Fordson Diesel Major f 1955 vintage, very popular tractor in the 1950s. Got one like it that my uncle bought new in 1956. The tractor is operating a UK built IH B21 semi mounted mower. MJ

Looks like a Nuffield to me. They became the Leyland later. They were quite popular in this part of the country. Still a few around.
