Looking for a deck belt measurement for a LS 45H with a 48 inch deck. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or any knowledge on this lawn tractor. Thanks for the time.

If it is anything like a JD or Cub Cadet do yourself a favor and get one right from the dealer. Will fit belts do not fit right on many brands of mowers as many of them use a weird size belt.

This will take time but it works. Had to modify a Troy built Pony tractor when the deck got a huge hole in it. Got another like new deck that was one size smaller. THEN the problems started. Pulleys are different sizes and the reach is all wrong. The soulution is get a THICK piece of rope and measure all of the way around the whole drive line. Mark it and take the rope to your local NAPA or other place with lots of belts. Buy a size over and under Etc. Carefully put on a belt and engage with the machine turned OFF. See how everything fits. If you find one that looks fantastic, and all of the clearences are good then run the machine. If you got the right size now, YEA! I like the really tough green or red belts. Takes time but that way I got my machine singing a happy song! It took four belts to get it and I just took the other three back.

You mean those 1/2 size belts. Also some have those stupid "shaped" belts. Yes some machines can really be a test of your sanity like Simplicity belts and some Deere machines I have had. The post I told him to try worked great on my Troy built so it can be a try this or that kind of deal. That Pony went all summer with not even a whimper though.

As I recall there were at least 2 different deck belts for the 48" mowers, and there might have been 3. Re-post with the component number off your deck (should be a 7 or 8 digit number starting with a 9),or use that number to search in New Hollands on-line parts book. Once you find the N-H number your local mower store should be able to cross it into a generic number or the Toro number. LS series were manufactured by Toro for New Holland.

First time I looked at your link it worked. Then I tried back a couple of times more and just get a blank page with the header ?
I was curious to see if new Holland listed a price for it.
