CaseIH vs New Holland Worldwide

With Fiat owning both CaseIH and New Holland tractor brands, is CaseIH a North American brand or available globally with strong dealer
networks? For some reason I'm thinking over seas (from the US and Canada) New Holland is Fiat's brand?

Or - is CaseIH just as much a presence worldwide as New Holland tractors and equipment?

Just curious.

Thanks!

Bill the real problem they have it as bad as they want to merge the tow they can,t . NORTHEAST us is very strong old ford/NewHOLLAND . The NH small (under 100 hP_ ) still are storng but the larger over 100 hp ih is strong in parts of the country and then the IH side has the combine. No way to eliminate either brand and not a way to merge the two. Going to be interesting to see how long they can hold on to the two and make it work. Then overseas it really gets complicated because the old ford and nh are strong in some countries while others favor the ih.

Don't forget you have Fiat brand tractors as well and I see some IH tractor go through on the railroad for export and they say Zetor on them. Where does Versitile fit in now?

Versatile is owned by Combine Factory Rostselmash, of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. (Isn't that where the plane crashed a few days ago?)

"Wasn't the Versatile brand bought by Buhler Industries in Canada???"

Yep, and "Combine Factory Rostselmash" later bought Buhler.

Seriously.
