have a 49' Oliver 77 with mechanical lift, i want to replace it with a hydraulic system, can i use any of the 3 style hydraulic systems or only the 1st or early style, thks Dave, upstate NY

On YT there is an Oliver forum and if you are in classic view just click on discussion forums and scroll down the page. I have a 1951 Oliver 77 and have a few pictures of the hydraulic removed if you need them. I'm about an hour from Albany off of I 88. Greg

you can use any of them. i did the same thin with my 50 77. i have the latest one on mine. however you have to take out the bearing support for the pto shaft the hydraulic pump becomes the pto shaft bearing support. then you have to take the mechanical lift gear off the input shaft and cut it down or install an input shaft for a hydraulic unit to make room for the pump assembly
