I am having trigger finger release surgery this morning so I can't have my morning coffee and nothing to eat. I had the same surgery on my right hand 10 yrs ago and it wasn't to bad, about 10 days with a big bandage and another 10 days taking it easy. I am looking forward to tying my shoes without pain.

I understand, I've had 5 trigger finger releases and 2 carpal tunnel surgeries in the last 15 years. But whenever someone said you can't do that ,I had to prove them wrong when I was younger. I wish now I would have just agreed. Good luck with it

I had one done on my middle finger left hand a few years ago, it went well and I was working the next day..

Surgery went well, I just need to take it easy for a few days. Doc. even initialed my finger tips to make sure they do the right ones.

Never had trigger finger troubles until I had Carpel Tunnel surgery. Doc said there is no connection I don't believe him. I had trigger finger release surgery and now its nothing but pain and my finger doesn't bend all the way, this is after its all healed up. going in to see the surgeon again. Jim

I have had two different types of trigger finger release procedures. Two fingers were done the traditional way and one was done endoscopic. The endoscopic procedure does not require any stitches and is a very fast recovery. I believe I went back to work the next day. Matter of fact I need another finger done.
