I need a 12 Volt in line electric fuel pump to put on a tractor needs to be able to
go up to 25 lbs of pressure, will be running diesel thru it.Anyone know of one or
bought one that will work?

I think "diesel" and "25 lbs." is gonna make it a bit tough.

What are you working with that requires 25 psi?

most inline electric pumps wont get even near that, unless you can figure out a way to adapt a modern in tank pump, the other problem ive had is reliability, ive had cars and trucks with aftermarket electric pumps to replace the mechanical one ive had 100 % failure rate and usually not at a very long time, better fix it right, you will be happier if you do

The one I use is a Facet shown below, about $50. These have been around since the 60's and are sold as fuel pumps for small piston airplanes so they must be pretty reliable. Which ever one you buy make sure that you put a fuel filter filter in front of it. Most automotive fuel pumps run at less than 5 psi. Why do you need 25psi? Your injection pump will feed enough pressure to the injectors. What are you putting it on?

I've got one like the one pictured (not a Facet, I think) on my Oliver 550 diesel- $30 at NAPA- works fine.

Hi, I have a Nappa non descript 12V between tank and injector pump on my Toyota. If I recall it was about $30, 7 or 8 yr ago. Ed Will Oliver BC

Its on a Fiat built diesel and the service manual says the fuel pressure needs to be between
23 and 26 lbs going into the injection pump, found several but they're for gasoline and didn't know if they'd handle
diesel fuel.Might be able to rebuild the mechanical pump on the tractor now but maybe not.Figured the electric pump would put the fuel up there quicker.

You will typically find the low 4-7 psi pumps with internal regulators for carburetors, or high pressure fuel injection pumps that require a regulator. The high pressure pumps are not cheap, they will go for above $100 plus the regulator will run about half that.

We can work with options if you tell the rest of the story.

First thought would be an electric inline pump like GM used on the Oldsmobile 5.7 diesel conversion motors.
Don't recall PSI rating but I do remember it being quite high.

The electric pump on my powerstroke is regulated @ 45-50 psi & runs constantly, bypassing fuel back to tank @ that pressure. if your system has this type pressure regulation, some thing like this could work.

As some of the others said.. what's the application? 0-7 psi is what most carb pumps run.. you are pretty much in FI charge pump territory.

what are you trying to run? a filling hose nozzle with auto shutoff?
