Tractor tire chains

While cleaning out the shop I found some rear tire chains i picked up in a purchase about 20 years ago. The previous owner didn't know what size they fit only they wouldn't fit on the 28" tire of the TO-20 I was buying. The length of the chain that goes around the sidewall is 114". Does anyone have an idea what they might fit? It just occurred that the crossbar chain length may be needed also. Will get it after work if needed. Thanks, kinda want to get rid of them

John, using 114" as circumference of the chains wrapped around the tire side wall I get a diameter 36.4". Depending on the cross chain length, I'd bet the fit 18.4-38 tires. Pretty common.

he said the length of the chain for the side wall was 114 inches. I would think it is more like a 24 inch tire to fit. depending on width.

I just cut down a set of 18.4 - 38 to go on my 16.9 x 30. Cross links are about 30 inches. Side chain circumference calculates to about 116 inches and they ride half way between the widest point of the tire and the out side edge of the rim.
