John Deere parts lookup

Does anyone know if Jack Sheep has an online parts lookup like CIH does? I am putting together a parts list of things I need for the JD 7000 planter and there are a few items I cannot find part numbers for. On-line diagrams with parts list on the CIH website are really useful. Does JD have such a thing?

of course. Try jdparts.com.

You will need to get a user ID and identify a local dealer as your home dealer.

I usually go to my local dealer website and click on their parts icon... it takes me to Deere's parts website.

jdparts.deere.com

Will get you to where you can look up parts. You can sign up with a local dealer an then you can get pricing and inventory

Excellent, thank you! I Googled it and was getting all kinds of weird hits. It seems to work well, I will look in the morning for what I need. Been a long day and all that tiny print is ...well...beyond my abilities at the moment. Thanks again.

Dave look at the top of the window where the parts diagram is at. There is an arrow that says print selection. Hit that arrow and then chose "Illustration and key lines". That will open up another window that is full page size. You can print it out and it will look just like a paper parts catalogue. It is much easier to read. You have to go back to the original window if you want to use the shopping cart feature.

I often print out a page to take to the shop with me. You can see what part numbers you need or just look at the diagram to see how the item goes together.

Dave I use jdparts all the time. You get signed up with a dealer and you can see prices and inventory. You can also see inventory of the other store locations by the same dealer. I haven't had the online fail yet but I call if they show one and have them eyeball it. I have two profiles for two different dealers. One is Bader the other is D&G. Sometimes they have different inventory and prices. Who has what and the cheapest determines what direction I go.

You can also go on and change dealers at any time to another dealer and compare price and avaibilty against other dealers you'd be surprised the difference sometimes

I find it especially helpful when working in the shop until after hours, then needing to check parts for the next day. Our local dealer would like to expand internet orders, so I usually go ahead and order the stuff online, help them reach their goals. There is an email eddress for the parts guy, and I'll send him a note too, if I need a rush, or no rush at all. Can save a phone call.

As mentioned, the printed pages can be as good as a service manual, well, almost. I like to move the boundaries of the picture as far left and down as I can, and still see the left column and two lines on the bottom, then fit the picture or enlarge.
