windows 10 question

I just got a new HP 15 laptop and have downloaded windows 10 on it. The zoom appears to be controlled by touching the touch pad I guess I'm letting my thumbs kinda lay on the touchpad or something. It will all of a sudden be at 150% or go to 10%. Drives me nuts doing that. Is there any way to eliminate this great feature? Keith

Sometimes mine will do that, not most of the time though. I just click on the three horizontal lines at the top right of the page, and bring it back to 100%.

I know, that's what I'm having to do too. I'd like to eliminate everything bot the 100%---I've tried the touch pad and mouse but nothing there that I could find.. Thanks guys

I have a Wallyworld HP15 with Windows 10. I, nor the HP techs can get it so it doesn't do weird things with the touch screen. We did a master reset, then reloaded Windows 10 thinking that would help. NOT!!! If I ever get to the point where I can get a different computer, it won't be a HP, and I doubt it will be Windows 10.
Call HP and complain.

Push the Windows Button and press X at the same time. Select Control Panel. Go to mouse properties. Go to Device properties, click settings, unclick pinch zoom. I personally deselect tapping. Something that clicks everytime I fat finger the mousepad does me no favors.
