Been following this for a while, you said the cylinders bent when the loader was raised all the way up. What happens when it is all the way up?

Are the cylinders running out of pivot travel and possibly getting a side load bind?

Is it possible the cylinders have been replaced and are too long?

Is it possible there is supposed to be a stroke limiter inside the cylinders to prevent them from extending too far? You may want to add limiters while they are apart. When a cylinder is fully extended it is at it's weakest point. Stopping he travel a few inches from the end greatly reduces the possibility of bending.

Reason I'm asking, just want to prevent this from happening again now that they are straight.

Thanks steve ,as far as I know the cylinder rods are oem.just to clarify I was trying lift the top bale off a stack of 4x4x8s I didn't have quite enough reach and the cylider was already bent from the tractor the loader was on before so when I had it fully extended I rolled the fork back it bent the cylinder rod . the cylinders do have an internal stroke stop I haven't seen before but there's a pin through the rod about ten inches from the piston that stops the cylinder from going to far

What is good to clean with ? I did a search looking for original post never found it buy the way but I did read where a hydraulic shop recomended super glue to repair pits in a rod

I used JB weld on a steering cylinder, I cleaned it good with degreaser and stiff brush first, then acid to get the rust down in the pits. If you don't use acid it will pop the epoxy in a couple years. Mine was four years ago and still good.
