That pic you posted of your buddies Farmall on the dolly type of trailer.....does that pull well? If so, that looks like a pretty slick setup if one wanted to only haul one smaller tractor. Surely it pulls much easier than a deck over trailer plowing through the wind. And being so close to the ground looks like another obvious safety bonus. I would love anymore pics, information, knowledge, experience with this setup that you would be willing to share. Thanks in advance.

He says it pulls very well, even at high speeds. It uses trailer hubs and has electric brakes. The hitch length vs. the center of gravity makes it stable. It only fits a regular though! I have a couple of more photos but the photo uploader doesn't seem to be working at the moment

Try again.

In the state of Texas you can use straps as long as they have the proper load rating and are in an acceptable condition to the trooper that pulls you over. I see a lot of people using straps at the tractor shows.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen someone going down the road with a Mule or 4 wheeler on a trailer and it has one little dime store ratchet strap going over it in some way.

Myself, I only use chains on equipment but will use straps for lumber and round bales.
