After today's snow, this about summed it up.

We got about the same. Most of it while I was at work.
Once I managed to get home I could go plow snow. LOL

its been a nice break from the past two winters here in Michigan , I've been able to get
lot of things done outside this winter . just hoping that we don't have a early spring for
the fruit growers.

Last night on 9&10 news, they said it was staying from about Cadillac and south. Here in Kalkaska, we already have 5" and still coming. Guess a slight wind change can throw it off its track.

Ha, ain't that the truth. As hard as it was still snowing when I wrapped up plowing today I'll probably have to do it again tomorrow.

That looks about right for the last couple of weekends. Get the snow during the week and it all melts on the weekend.

I really just wish we could keep it. this is fun though. Enough to drive the snowmobiles straight down the road, and not much traffic to worry about.

This is one of Isabella's trucks. Driver hit a huge pothole in one of their roads and the V plow on the front dove in and ripped the plow standard off. That WAS a V plow under there.

Six inches here in Southern Genesee county at 830pm and still coming down hard. Most of the schools closed here for Wed. I took the blower off the back of the loader tractor after last week thinking that would be it for the winter. I don't need it much for anything below 4 inches or so, I just use the loader. It allot easier on my neck just looking forward with the loader. I put it back on this morning, it will be getting another workout tomorrow.

Thats gonna leave a mark!!! Could have been worse I guess, if the whole truck flipped over upside down. That would have been a kodak moment.

I drove from Traverse City to Detroit and back today. Coming back this afternoon, I-75 from south of Flint, and US-10 through Clare was some of the worse driving I have ever seen. Visibility was about non-
existant at times. Lots of miles on the freeway about 25 to 30 mph. Sure was glad to get home!

Dang it Ross! Now who's going to plow my driveway? LOL
Good to know you all have potholes as big as ours.
We have a shortage of VW Beetles and can't fill 'em all.

Looks like 4-6" here. I just got in from pushing the early stuff off the drive. Daughters both have to get in from work still tonight and I like to move the early stuff off before it gets packed in and driven on. Not too bad. Real light stuff with some thin ice under it. Would be a lot of fun with a snow blower.

We got over a half-inch of ice coating everything, and now just a little more than a dusting of snow on top of it down here by the boarder. I left the truck outside Sunday to melt the snow and ice from the bed while I was at work. I left it out Monday morning when I came home, and now the ice was too thick to even open the driver's side door tonight. Had to open the other side to start it up to thaw out. more snow in the bed now than before. Might have to go plowing in a couple of hours. I shoulda ground feed Monday, but I slept a little long, and then started in on the taxes. Finished and filed them tonight! Hope it calms down to grind tomorrow.

let the dogs out here about 6 pm had 2-3 inches on the deck
let them back out at 12 and there's now 15 inches there and still coming down here
at least we missed the freezing rain
all winter the weather guessers have been predicting twice the amount we ever got snow wise
today they said 14-15 cm = 6 inches so about 1/2 predictions for this round
wish they could be consistently wrong would be easier to deal with
it's going to be a big mess to clean up here tomorrow

Well boys, you might think about moving to Alaska. Ws haven't had more than 4 inches of snow at any one time this winter. This coming Saturday the Iditarod starts (1, 000 mile dog sled race) with the ceremonial start in downtown Anchorage. Now would you believe they are bringing 37 railroad cars of snow down from Fairbanks just to be able to have that ceremonial start in Anchorage. Wife actually saw someone runing around in a yellow convertable today. Tops are down and the motorcycles are out.

It's Wednesday. Just plugged in diesel tractor to warm up so I can plow with back blade. 4WD truck with plow is down, needs a new
starter, and probably batteries. Not ready to tackle that after my recent surgery. Have a snowblower that fits my Woods ZT mower,
but it's blocked in by the truck. Besides, the Woods is a diesel, probably won't start at 16 degrees. Gonna be a long day moving
6" to 12" of partly cloudy today. Open station tractor.

2011 I was standing their where they start the Iditarod race the last week of July. It was in the upper 30's and raining so hard I couldn't hardly see. My wife and I was on my Goldwing. We rode over 500 miles to Tok, Ak. that day. Boy that was fun??

LOL, nope, not ours! We
are fortunate to have
townships that like to
have us out scraping,
plowing, tree cutting.
Isabella is not
unfortunately. I'll stay
in Gratiot...
