When our County Sheriff gave his monthly report at the weekly County Commissioner's meeting this morning, the following was part of his report:
Due to vacancies, he's been advertising for Deputies and jail help. He had 12 applicants accumulated and called them all in at once for a screening exam. Prior to the exam, they did a routine background check on each applicant and found--one of them standing right there had an open warrant out on him. Guess where the applicant went instead of along with the group to take the exam?
