mounting a Case IH 2250 loader on a 656 IH

I saw a 2250 loader for sale at a reasonable price. I was wondering if anyone had mounted any of these loaders on older tractors. Also are they a pretty decent loader, I have never used one?

If it has the right mounts, it will fit right on. Friend of mine has a 2250 on a 656 that he keeps at his land for making deer food plots, etc. Pretty good loader from what I remember of it.

I mounted this old A/C loader I got at an auction on my IH 656. I made the mounts a quick attach, also put a quick attach on the front so I can share whit my Skid Steer.

Hi, 2250 loader had several different loader bracket mounting options for different tractor models.

i have 2250 loaders on 656 hydros. the main place to look for breaks is on the oval-ish tube that connects the side arms, ahead of the front of the tractor. usually caused by trying to lift whatever with a corner of the bucket instead of straight on.
2250s are good loaders for 656 size tractors.

Here is a mount o matic on my 686,very similar to a 656.Can take off or be put back on in a matter of minutes by yourself.
