1965 Case 530 hydraulic fluid leaking into rear axel

I have a 530 40 hp Draft O Matic. Ser # 8304121.
The hydraulic fluid slowly leaks back into the rear axel and I have to continually add hydraulic fluid and drain the axel housing. I was leaking fluid into the clutch area visible thru the clutch expectation plug. Had a guy split the tractor in half, he replaced a seal said it would fix the problem. I don't have fluid in my clutch area anymore but the fluid is still seeping into the rear axel from the hydraulic area. What would make this happen. TY.
 
The piston that raises your 3pt is leaking is the most likely. That issue has been discussed countless times down on the Case forum. There are also seals further back from the bellhousing, on the pto shaft that can leak. Drop down to the Case forum for further info.

Hey... Thank you for the quick response. The solution does make sense now that you think about it. I will start digging into this. You mentioned > to drop down to the Case forum. Sorry new to all of this. Are you referring to > Case and David Brown forum from this site? Where can I find more details for the solution? Any references you can give me would be great. Part views that break down the hydraulic piston etc... Hey... want to thank you again.
