Time to head out...

...and do a preliminary plow. Nice to get it cleaned up a little before people start trying to drive on it. Still coming down hard. Looks like maybe 4" on the deck railing. I think I prefer this to 1" every other day like some winters!

:)

Probably a good inch here. Not going to fuss with it until it gets problematic for the 4WD vehicles.

Check your mailbox in the morning if your mail man makes it.

I'm going to wait until it gets 6 inches or so. I am a all at once guy.

I have yet to plow the driveway this winter. I see little sense to plowing during a storm. Just a waste of time. Move it once and be done with it. the way this year has been, it will warm up and melt, two days later.

I went out at 530 to check on animals. I put a measure tape in my pocket and come up with between 6 to 7 inches and coming down hard. I thought about doing a pre-plow on the main drive to make it a little easier tomorrow. Its heavy and wet and its not going to be easy to move but decided to heck with it. I've got no place I got to be tomorrow.

Just got in. Glad I did that. The rain/snow mix on the bottom is sticking to the ground and making about an inch of ice. I was still able to get this up. I plow with a loader, not a blade. Blades may have a little trouble with this. I feel for the guys with gravel drives...your going to pick up a lot of stone. REALLY friggin slippery...be careful out there all!

I sure hope I don't have to with all that mud under it. It's supposed to be in the 40s over the weekend and that should melt all of it anyway.

yeah, when this melts, I'm gonna have gravel piles instead of snow. None of the tractors are in plowing order so we're digging out

Got 6" here in cent. MI and just now got elect back. Off from 6pm-12am. So sticky it has filled up the 3x5 wire dog fence to almost solid. Only 2nd time doing driveway this year. I'm ok with that.
