Lost Cub

New User
Hello,

I'm looking for some feedback. I'm wanting to sell
a 1996 Cub Cadet 2284 Super Garden Tractor that was my Dad's. But, I need a better idea of what kind of price to put on it.

The tractor runs pretty well. It might need spark plugs. But, it only has 276 hours on it. It has a Kwik-Way hydraulics loader on it. No mower. Overall, it obviously has some wear and tear on it from working in the elements from time to time, but it seems to still be in decent shape.

Thanks for your help!

Ross

That's a nice garden tractor with low hours. Start with a high a price, something like $3500 or more even though it has no mower. Mowers are going for ~$500. Sounds like a cream puff. You wouldn't be price gouging either. There are collectors with the bucks out there or someone that just wants a great tractor to mow with. Can always wiggle the price down. Now if you had a Case or Ingersoll Rand people would just laugh at you (expect maybe Tom Arnold). lol

tractorhouse website will have Cub Cadet garden tractors for sale. You can get a good idea from there.
