How to question

Ok, so I have this two bottom plow, and not sure if it is a 14" or 16" moldboard plow. What do I measure to determine it's size? Thanks.

Center of one beam to center of other beam.

Looks like a later Case Eagle hitch plow.

Look at the back of the molboards, there should be an ex14 or ex16.

It's a Case plow, not really sure what it is, I never used it much. Maybe an "M"?

That doesn't always work, I have 16" plows with EX14 stamped on the moldboard.

You did it again Richard! I was going to say measure from one point to the other point. Also the cut wheels should be 1 - or 1 1/2 or 2 inches before where the actual sod roll over is. It is all in the old owners books but he might not know.Jeffcat

Thanks for asking this question. I have been around plows most of my life and when I needed to know the size of the moldboard I was never close to a book to look up how to measure the bottoms. Thanks again!
